Being in the army is no simple life. Yes all you have to do is wake up, wear your uniform, and do as your told. But what people don't know is the financial burden some of us go through. Starting a new life with a new family is hard already. Paying bills, making sure food is in the table, and your son has clothes is challenging for a new family. My wife can not find a job, and it will be difficult for me to get a second job because my schedule is unpredictable, or i can deploy at any given time or go TDY. Being in a financial crisis while in the army is horrible, it's destroying my family and my life. At the age of 25 I am growing bald from stress at work and at home. Not knowing if your phone will be cut off or if you can't come up with some money to pay the rent is a horrible experience. Debt collectors calling everyday leaving voicemails, that if you don't pay your check will be garnished is not a good feeling. I am writing this because I want to open the door or avenues and show to the rest of the world that the people that defend your freedom go through the same hardships.
